Indo African Explosives Limited was incorporated in Tanzania in 2023 under the
Companies Act 2002. The Company operates as a subsidiary of Indo Gulf
Industries Limited (IGIL), an India-based company that manufactures globally
certified Industrial Explosives & Accessories
IGIL is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. All products are developed using
modern techniques and packed with equipment imported from the USA and China.
Our company’s special focus is on international industry quality and safety
standards.
The extensive marketing network, comprising dealers and agents worldwide,
makes IGIL one of the leading players in its segment. IGIL has a high-end portfolio
of products, including a wide range of industrial explosives and accessories. Our
products are well appreciated and accepted in the mining, quarrying, and civil
engineering industries worldwide.
Indo African Explosives Limited was established as IGIL’s mission to expand its
global presence and enhance its capabilities to provide blasting solutions and
quality explosives products to serve the local demands throughout Africa. It now
focuses on developing regional capabilities across the complete spectrum of
blasting solutions.
Our local partner, Eng. Athuman Kassim, who is the Managing Director of Indo
African Explosives Limited, is a Tanzanian Professional Mining Engineer with over
18 years of experience in the explosive industry. He brings extensive technical and
leadership expertise, which he has acquired through working for prominent
explosives manufacturing and distribution companies, both domestically and
internationally.
